Even then things dont add up. a few years back there was a similiar announcement from HCL or PCS (afair) for a sub 20k pc. They collected advances and did not deliver for several months. Further the warranty would be non standard. Or maybe someone is dumping their stock of non saleable junk. Since the component costs are about Rs.8K HCL would not be able to sell below Rs.12k inorder to cover overheads without high risks.
