In the past I have installed Linux (RH, SuSE, Caldera) and FreeBSD on Dell PowerEdge servers. Would expect Debian to install as well. Don't know much about their current offerings. IBM/HP have hyped about their hardware supporting Linux... Having said that I have had problems with Linux installs failing on Compaq servers.

Best thing would be to contact their "real" server tech support guys (not the call center types who work off menus on their screen) and ask them.
