Hi friends,
I have a internet connection from Nivyah Broadband, Mumbai. I have been using it for long now, and sharing it using a netgear router. Unfortunately, around 1 month back, I found that I am not able to use the internet. I did a traceroute, it showed no problem, but I was still not able to browse. I tried using other service provider on the same settings i.e. changing the access-concentrator details etc. it works fine.
Switched back to Nivyah and again the same result. I am not able to browse or in otherwords not able to use internet.
You have not mentioned if the said internet works at least on a single computer. First check this. If it works, do remember to use the MAC id that was bound to your connection. In your router or computer you can manually change the MAC id to your choice.
Nowadays using a router is not much of a problem with ISPs.
