There is no usable OCR at the present moment which gives good results. Your best bet is http://code.google.com/p/tesseract-ocr/. They are integrating Devanagri components into it currently.
There is also http://pune.cdac.in/html/gist/products/chitra.aspx but I have never used it myself.
