Hi the data is in the text format, the data are separated by , (comma) and are enclosed by " (double quotes).
My requirement is the file resides on Client machine say A and the Database server is on machine say B.
I execute the query from the client machine (A) the query is
LOAD DATA LOCAL INFILE '/usr/local/test.txt' into table Test fields terminated by ',' enclosed by ' " ' lines terminated by '\r\n'
The table Test is on machine B , with the above query the data from the Local text file (test.txt) should be inserted in the Test table of machine B.

or do ya want to connect to the remote machine and insert the data in text file to the database on same server?
