Hello,
Finally with broadband speeds improving, the concept of a low cost thin client net pc seems to be catching on.

If the network is maintained properly and does not become a PITA like iptv, this technology will usher in low cost computers into economically backward areas. Even economically upward people will find this technology hassle free and many members of the family can now have their own computing systems with their own television sets at lower costs. A usb drive will store data personally. Add to that some shopping, banking and share trading applications and the concept will rock. Encryption of data will make the server-client link secure. Upgrading to newer applications is done at the server end so no headaches for the user. A flashable firmware would care of the client side too.
