--------------------------------- Hi; I have a probelm accessing Internet from Linux 8.0: My network consists of windows 2k active directory installed with Microsoft proxy server 2.0 installed on Windows NT 4.0 server.Recently I have installed Red Hat Linux 8.0 on one of machine. Now to access internet from the Linux machine, in http proxy config. box I inserted my NT proxy server's name and port as 80. But still I am not getting Internet access. Previously my MS Proxy server was installed on windows 2000 server, that time I used to get Internet access on Linux machines. So what's the reason I am not getting internet access using MS Proxy server 2.0 which is on Windows NT 4.0.
Do I need to install any special patch or any settings from Linux 8.0. ThanksKetan Sahasrabudhe ketansahasrabudhe@hotmail.com
