I am neither proposing nor propagating any theory. All that I am saying is no matter how much one loves the ideals of the BSD and the Open Source Definition, one has to have read the GPL or the Free Software Definition. Not only because the FSD predates the BSD, but also because you need to know about something in order to criticise it.
If someone is fond of ESR, BSD, OSD, Bruce Perens, etc. I have no issues as long as they do not indulge in berating 'others', where 'others' are people from whom ESR and Bruce Perens have derived their ideas. (Ref: Revolution OS)
