Hi All,
Came across this cool piece of software - Virtual Distributed Ethernet -http://vde.sourceforge.net/
It basically allows you to simulate a network on a single computer and it allows you to connect these distributed ethernets to each other.
It is extremely useful if you have multiple images running under qemu and wish to connect them , simulating physical hosts.
sadly it is not packaged into deb.
