we have a kerberos and samba server running in our lab for authenticating the linux and windows user respectively. both use openldap 2.2.23 as the backend. The problem is we need to synchronize the password in both kerberos and samba. we tried including an overlay called smbk5pwd that comes with openldap3. but we were not able to do that. How do we include smbk5pwd in openldap2.2.23 ? is there any other solution for synchronizing the password in samba and kerberos. we are using MIT kerberos V
