Hello,
A client recently got a usb to ethernet adapter from Lam. Rd. for doze and I borrowed it to check it on my Ubuntu 10.04 box. It works and has the following details in /var/log/messages.
Davicom DM9601 USB Ethernet
I was able to surf the net. The model number is KY-RS9600 2009-02-668A.
