I was trying to install Wep Ex 330+ DX , on finding that cups is taking serial port like /dev/ttyS0 , I found on Desktop PC (having Ubuntu 10.04), has no /dev/lp0
On ls /dev/l*
it displays:
log loop0 loop1 loop2 loop3 loop4 loop5 loop6 loop7, but no lp0
What could be the reason, and what can be done?
On same machine, same printer do work on MSwindows (which shows port as LPT1), and it is connected through parallel port.
