as a fallout from the NRC-FOSS meeting in Mumbai, requests for Teacher Training Programmes and installation of FOSS in labs have started coming in. Typically, TTPs will be for one or two days, and the teachers will be trained to teach FOSS subjects. We have a full schedule of what is to be taught. We will pay for travel, accommodation and a small honorarium also. Please contact us if you
Hello Kenneth, can you send more info regarding the course work? I'm interested.
Hi, I am interested as well.

The training broadly covers training teachers to teach the syllabi in foss electives I and II mentioned here:
http://nrcfosshelpline.in/code/wiki/FossElectivesSyllabus <--- this is for Anna University, Tamilnadu, but other universities would do something more or less on the same lines. If you are interested, please add your name and details in the link below and we will revert:

as most universities in Maharashtra are now just about to formulate their Syllabi in foss, this is a good chance also to get into the ground floor of the syllabus making process. I would like to emphasise that the policy of NRC-FOSS is *not* to go for platform neutral syllabi, because going for that in Indian conditions, means that the majority of lecturers will opt for the 'easily available and accessable' option. We are *not* for a level playing field - we are working to tilt the playing field in favour of FOSS.
