May not be very easy for M$ to do that. It is a risk that should be taken. One probable reason why the Ximian guys jumped on to .net is to piss off Sun who pulled out funding from the Ximian/whatever foundation. As long as Ximian stays out of M$ $ they should succeed in preventing any rug pulling and only have cops n robbers games to play.
