On your windows cmd run the following command.
net use /delete \server-name\IPC$
Whenever you enter the password for your samba server, a connection is setup from windows machine. To unremember the password you have to delete that connection.

How can I cause Windows XP to forget the samba passwd? If I login to samba as foo and then after some time I want to re-login as bar, XP doesn't ask for the passwd. It just logs me in as foo.
How can I sort of "logout" of samba? Restarting smb doesn't help.
