Hi!,
I would like to set up a linux based mail servers (multiple) server per remote location so it would not choke the wan link any clues in this direction which would be easiest setup for this ?? i.e. if a remote user@remote.comp.com sends email to user2@remote.comp.com is should not be routed through comp.com but the local remote server should route it.
I don't see a reason why mail from user@remote.comp.com to user2@remote.comp.com should route via (a mail server at) comp.com.
If you are using qmail, the ~/locals, ~/me & ~/rcpthosts file with 'remote.comp.com' at that location will deliver local mails locally & remote mails via smtp...I don't see a problem..or am I missing something?
