Hi
I think the white box u r mentioning is UTstar. Now when I took my MTNL triband connection exactly 1 month back the person who came to my house a local contractor for installation said that MTNL now gives only UTstar modem and no Dlink modem. I did not know that there were choices to be made
Anyways so far UTstar has worked fine.
