In this thread? No I did *not*. Dont lie. The archives dont lie. RTFA.
Having initiated the negativity you need to *dig* into the archives for a change.
... And you *dont* get to bully me into silence either :) So read
I'm not bullying you into silence. Continue to crib, croon, wail or whatever you wish to do.
... yeah, you dont get to tell me to tolerate your bullying either.
this http://www.tldp.org/HOWTO/Encourage-Women-Linux-HOWTO/x302.html,
So tell me. We're loud, tell you to RTFM, say we're-not-a-linux-help-channel. Then why do you come into our mailing list, advertise yourselves, ask to help you guys out. You do realize that the same people, with their same habits, are going to probably do the same thing. This is how the whole community is. We're diverse, we're loud, we tell you to RTFM and we will flame and ridicule n00bs who won't try to help themselves and ask dumb questions. This is how our community in-general behaves.
... are you talking for yourself or every list member? The rudeness and bullying behaviour is limited to you at the moment so speak for yourself instead of calling every list member "loud". They are'nt, you definitely are.
You have a problem with it? Make your own community. Spread your "philosophy" through talks, conferences. Don't bother coming into a mailing list where you know people like us live and pick a fight. This is what you did. Your fault.
Its evident that you dont read the links posted or make the effort to understand what is being said so I'll summarize the keywords from : http://www.linuxchix.org/about-linuxchix.html , "be polite" and "be helpful" ; which you obviously _dont want to_ comprehend at all.
As for *-women groups ; besides LinuxChix, Debian-Women, Fedora-Women, Gnome-Women, KDE-Women, Ubntu-Women and Apache-Women already exist ; formed precisely because of the negative behaviour people like you exhibit. Your negativity manages to negate all the nice work done by hundreds of others, which is what the TLDP FAQ says. So again, go and read it and try to understand it instead of bullying. This is probably the lowest of all insults. You think I'm a Neanderthal with no communication skills? My dear I write well and
^^^^^^^^^^^^^ TBH, I am not interested in discerning your writing skills but I strongly object to you calling me "My dear"... very creepy and odd.
