Have you configured IPchains/Iptables and/or other firewalls to allow rpc connections. Also ensure portmapper is running.
i chked up my firewall settings, it was enabled(High) , i tried to remove it using firewall settings in setup , but seems like its not getting reflected and yeah portmapper is running,
