Actually it was a bit of hackerdom. Replacing the 's' and rhyming morphemes in plurals with 'z' or 'x'.

Thanks becomes thanx and _not_ thankx...

But then that's the problems one faces with a male keyboard ;) The one I have simply revolts. While I ranted about the spelling of 'thanx' I made a mistake (read typo) myself later-on in the mail.

They certainly don't make keyboards like they used to before.
