Heh. First time I've been asked that. Let's see...
cobbled: to build/assemble like a cobbler cobbles shoes glyphs: the little scurvy lines that show up when you combine a character encoding, a character set, and a font (ie, a visible representation of a character)
So I guess it's a long way to say "wrote". Automation helps :)
