What's the logic here? I noted your point about people checking out the script for themselves, but I personally feel it is good discipline to comment code, if only ;-) for posterity, and it is GOM (grand old men, not limited to subset grouchy ;-) old men) who set the standards for neophytes and budding GOM (and GOW).
