As a test I tried it again. I copied the linuxers link from your mail in Thunderbird, closed it and then opened Konquerar to paste the link in the address bar but the paste option did not get highlighted. Even Ctrl V did not work. Then I did the same thing again but kept Thunderbird open and this time the paste option appeared and ctrl V worked too.
