The road block IMHO will not be the software or technology, but the employees who don't really care to learn a new software unless the management or boss steers them towards it. Group video training sessions with samosas, kachoris and cold drinks should help.
why not do one at HBCSE and invite all interested. How much time would it take one day or two days. Group learning with the above mentioned munchware would be fun.
We could schedule it for saturday / sunday.
I'm game. I have the CD with all the videos (500 MB). One day should be enough. Sunday would be better as it is not a working day. Nothing like a GLUG get together to watch them. We will need machines loaded with Blender to actually try out the tips and tricks. We can bring laptops too. Everyone needs to come preloaded with blender. A 3D animation guy among the members would be a great asset in explaining things that go bouncer.
Sounds good. This can be yet another series of workshops like the openstreetmap.
Why not announce the meet on the wiki, if HBCSE is available on Sunday. Please check with Alpesh.
