Hey,
Im from Vasai, where we have frequent powercuts. I run a linux box at home which basically acts as my home server(box) I currently use the GPIO pin on my wifi router(running openwrt) to 'sense' powercuts, which in turn powers off the box and turns it back on when power resumes. Let me know if you'd like more details on the setup and code, I'd be happy to share :)

*However* - when you reply make sure you 1. Change the subject line to that of the Original Post 2. Trim *all* other messages in the digest and only include that is relevant to what you are responding to.
It takes a few more seconds to do so *but* it does make your post a lot more enjoyable to read.
