It is worth it if you can get it shipped to the US to someone who is visiting. A couple of my friends have the sheeva plug and run it as a NAS/router/gateway/dns for the home network. It is pretty nifty. More computing power than you would imagine from such a low power device.

Which is 2.6K INR, but without any drive attached. Will have to check on the hackability of the device.
