Hi, I have accidentally deleted some files and I want to recover them. I cam to know that 'mc' works for ext2 file systems only.
mine is an ext3 one. I have tries strings also, but it just exited with a warning saying that /dev/hde3(which is my home partition) is not an ordinary file.
What can I do now? Thanks much.
