As long as u have governments rationing resources u are going to have all of the current problems. In any case fat internet connections are a minor problem compared to (insert favourite peev). Besides information is dangerous - it makes people think. And last mile wireless is a major problem - u will divorce me for that hot new upstart with a thick pipe and all ports open.
