can we reach concencus about following
1) do we want to customize knopix ? do we have enough time to test it ? it will largely be bought by newbies. idea of including the src is great 2) what will be the selling price ? we need more suggestions.
3) how many copies do we want to make of each.
4) are there any licensing issues about knopix and gnu win cds, please deliterabte if any.
5) can we have some write up about the cds especially sailent features / packages in each cd.
6) are there any other distros we want to make available. ? does someone have the gnu/linux on buniess card (the 40mb distro )
i m free on sat evening and sunday. i dont have gnu win cds. i can replicate knopix.

Yes, atleast I want to customize/localize the Knoppix distro. One day would be enough to test it. I will myself go and handover the CDs to guys who want to test it.

That depends upon what kind of response we can expect. Hey guys! I would like somebody to speculate on the response that we can get. Especially considering the fact that it is 8th of Feb and yet there is no hungama in the newspapers, posters etc. Mr.Shastri is getting the posters / pamphlets ready.

I can give you the GNU-win CD!! We can divide the task. You replicate the Knoppix CD and I'll replicate the GNU-win CD. We can then package them together :-))

i m of the opinion that Knopix --> Rs 49/- for Studetns Rs 99/- for others
GNU Win --> Rs 99/- for Students Rs 149/- for others
what do others suggest ? is this too high ? too low ?
But will VJTI allow sale on behalf of FSF / GLUG / ILUGBOM ?
do we have the necessary permissions ?

can we request RMS to sign cds with a marker ? they could be given as souviners to special people or even sold at a premium.
