i agree with Biju. The deal is that programmers working on Windows Platform,with a year's experience gets 20Ktake home plus perks and benefits.
If the Linuxenthusiasts gets lessdough then his Windows counterpart, no matter what you say about sharin' and open source, or whatever, its gonna serve as a detterent to him and thus to the FLOSS,etc. movements also.
I say this because I have gone through this stage, and though now I am a wiser, a couple of years ago,I was ready to put Linux as nothing but just a hobby cuz "out there" no one seemed to pay you enough for it.
