I am having a really strange problem with qmail......I have few dialup mail servers @ Zenith.
The issue is such......
--> Fetchmail causes the system to dialout every 15minz and grab mail from our drop boxes.
--> The SMTP service spawned by svscan(svscanboot) is runnin perfecto......While i do a tail of the smtpd logz...i notice that every connection from a client internally delivers mail to my local box.
But ironically.........this mail doesn't show up nywhere..........:(.
--> I have the :alias-ppp entry in the virtualdomains file so that all outgoin mail will be dropped in /var/qmail/alias/pppdir/new/
I am really in a fix.......as the mail just seems to vanish in thin air....(i know itz not possible)....but i just cant figure out where the heck the mail is being ditched..........My local, remote queues r empty...............

I didn't exactly understand your setup ... is your system acting as a smarthost for more client machines, and is itself connected to the Zenith servers? Does the mail popped by fetchmail reach its destination?
Can you mail a few lines from your logs? that might help ...
