Until now we are working in Windows platform and we have planned to change over to Linux and mainly for Dikless workstation (we are having nearly 50, 486 machines.
I have tried all the possibilities in www.ltsp.org and all other site you have mentioned.
But i am receiving error Kernle Panic, No init found.
So if you can please send me a step by step procedure (for a new man to linux) for installing Diskless workstation.

www.k12ltsp.org Use this. Wonderful package- automates most of the tasks that you have to otherwise manually do with LTSP. Ideal for people new to Linux. I used this to get 25 diskless nodes up in my college. Download the ISOs, burn CDs and u are ready to go.
In case you need to burn EEPROMS, go to Lamnigton Road. There is a shop named 'Niki Semiconductors' who burns EEPROMS for Rs 20/-. Tel: 23884628, 23887176
