Hi,
I noticed Ubuntu 10.10 boots faster. Also Fedora 14 boots faster. I tried to study boot process of it. I also google it. Found little information on it.
However can anybody please help me and send me link where I can find detail boot process of Ubuntu 10.10 / Fedora 14 ?
Or any other way around to understand it.
Regards n Thanks Neelesh Gurjar

This is quite subjective, at a min. ensure that you:
1. Use the same hardware platform 2. Use the default installation of the distro. (as it may not be feasible to have the exact same package content dictated by the dependencies). 3. Define the functionality you expect to be available at the end of the boot process (should be the same for all distros you are comparing). 4. Count time from Grub menu onwards.
