Hello List,
The welcome mail citing posting guidelines is horribly formatted at 80 characters. Can the list maintainer please have a look at it.

PS: 'Sandesh Rao' are you still around? The welcome mail lists you as one of the contributers.

Ok, at first I thought it was the list guidelines that were a problem, then realised that it was the welcome mail. It's been fixed to wrap at 74 characters now.
About Sandesh, I don't see him on the members list, and I haven't heard from him since sometime in 2001.

Thanks for that.

Hmm.. well around 2000/1 he would tell me (during my visits to Oracle) about ilug-bom using things like zope and how fantastic python was. I too haven't been in touch either since then. The list looks quite alive and i see a few familiar names.
One more thing, the gmane archive (gmane.user-groups.linux.mumbai) appears broken as well.. Thunderbird (on FC6) asks me to download the headers all over again everytime i connect. i am turning out to be quite a pain for you guys..

well i can't differentiate a pythom from any other snake.. save anaconda and shell scripting. However, i have used some python projects (pyzor, yam etc) that make things look real easy as compared to perl.

I don't know who handles that.
