The mailing list is ilug-bom (linuxers@mm.ilug-bom.org.in - Indian Linux Users Group - Bombay). After this problem occured, I opened up another subscription to the list using this very email account but a different alias i.e bhargav.bhatt@columbia.edu instead of bbb2004@columbia.edu. Then it seemed to be work fine. However, the first problem(no mail from the list to bbb2004@columbia.edu) still remained. So then i just cancelled the subscritption from bbb2004@columbia.edu and it still worked So no problems anymore, Yippe! :) Thanks a lot for getting back, though.
