Unfortunately I dont get you here... "Direct to MX"? I have to use windows for my brother as we both use the same email account and all he gets from his Bajaj mates are huge .ppt .doc and .xls files *sigh*.

I thought asking to change the client was a no-no here. ;). But aalas I cannot change the client - you all will have to help me petition VSNL to have it fixed. It does not even add '>' when replying. I have to do it manually. *grin*. It does not even add a appropriate subject.
