Has anybody ran a web application written in dotnet ASP.net on windows machine to run on GNU\Linux server with "mono' ? If it is possilbe can u please explain me details about your expirece ?

yes we have done some work around this . there seems to be good support for C# and ASP.NET in MONO. You can use Mono Develop .
