We have decided on the name: FossConf. The name will be in three parts:
Name: FossConf City: Chennai (this time) Date: feb08 (this time)
This leaves us a choice whether to hold it once a year or twice a year, and also to change the city each time. The city and date for the next FossConf will be announced at the end of the previous FossConf. However, regardless of where and when it is held, the scope of the conference - newcomers to foss, new speakers, new contributors - in short 'Foss for the common man', will not change. So now we move to stage two - publicity and getting the common man to come to our conference - ideas/action please

Just wanted to clarify since its always mentioned - "first time speakers". So people who have given talks before are not qualified to speak at this conference? New contributors? What people who have been contributing since some time?
