Hello Everbody!
I was installing Linux 7.2 on HCL based Beanstalk machine with 1.6 GHz. The video adapter card it is using is SiS 650 with 16MB RAM. Linux 7.2 is not able to probe if we use some other driver withing SiS. Could you all please suggest for any of the clone drivers so that it starts Xwindows. Hope to hear from you soon. While I cannot fix your problem, I feel it is my responsibility to inform you that linux is currently in version 2.4.18 (stable), and hence you cannot possibly be using linux 7.2.
You are probably referring to a version of one of the distributions, like SuSE linux 7.2, or Mandrake linux 7.2, or Slackware linux 7.2, (assuming these exist) or something else.
