Hi
I have braod band connectivity and gives very good speed. But for the last 2 to 3 months I have been experiencing problems with the same. It is sometimes not available for 10 days in a month. This hampers day to day work. I am planning a dialup internet connection as backup as i can atleast do normal routine work like cheking mails, accessing bank accounts etc. I want some wireless phone
I was planning on Tata Indicom.
Any suggestions or alternatives are welcome

Hi,
Avoid Tata Indicom..
They have nice policy: 1. They have plans like this. 350 Rs. per month/ 500 MB Data transfer. It looks Good.
2. Now, they count it by Phone use. At the month end they will count the actual data transfered and adjust the bill according to that.
3. They have some term called, 'Credit Limit'. If anytime your Credit Limit cross the defined amount, your phone will cut with one notice. Now, this mostly happens around 25-28th of month due to Point 2 - as they are counting 'Phone Use'
4. It is told that speed is 115 KB/S. I never got more than 8 KB/S !!
So, avoid Tata Indicom. Or, if there is no alternative, make sure that your Credit limit is high enough (more than regular 1500Rs.)
