i am using hfc conexant 56k internal modem tat comes along with compaq .. now how do i set it up for internet connection.. using rh linunx 7.1 . thanx,

Ah. The 'winmodem' rears its ugly head again. You could :-
1> Check out http://walbran.org/sean/linux/linmodem-howto-5.html#ss5.5
2> Buy a better external modem :)
