Details:

Tata Institute of Social Sciences (TISS) is a Deemed University U/S-3 of the University Grants Commission Act 1956. It is located at V.N. Purav Marg, Opposite Deonar Bus Depot, Mumbai. TISS invites an *Expression of Interest* from interested web developers/web designers/freelancers for designing User Interface of the Institute website as per the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG2.0)

*Scope of Work:*

1.

Study the current website and propose a new design/structure. 2.

Design templates using HTML, CSS, Javascript for academic and administrative sections of the Institute and also for showcasing Institute's work in terrms of Projects, activities etc. as per the proposed design/structure. 3.

*Server side scripting will be done by the internal development team*, however the party will have to work in co-ordination with the team. 4.

Checking WCAG2.0 compliance and certifying the website accordingly.

*Qualification criteria*:

1.

Should have atleast 2 years experience in developing websites with free and open source softwares. 2.

Should have extensive experience in designing user-interface of websites and web portals. 3.

Should have experience in developing websites which are accessible to people with visual impairment and should be aware of WCAG2.0 4.

Experience in developing websites which can be viewed on web browsers as well as mobile phones 5.

Experience in developing similar Intsitute websites with WCAG2.0 compliance is desirable.
