Hello,

How can I virus scan the HTTP contents. Is there any middleware like MAILSCANNER, which can intercept the HTTP contents, pipe it via the AV and then fwd to the client ??

I am using a Squid Proxy Server.

you can use dansguardian or safesquid to do tht, but i am not sure whether they are available for free.

Das guardian is free for private use and for commercial use license fee is negligible

you can use dansguardian or safesquid to do tht, but i am not sure whether they are available for free.

Dansguardian is GPL'd for noncommercial use, but has a pay-per-use licence for commerical applications. You might want to check the website for further details. Dunno about safesquid though.

You can try commercial product called WebScan for Linux. To download goto

Installation instructions are at

Required packages are at
