Am looking for a simple utility or opensource tool which can send memos from one computer to another or multiple others in the lan --the issued memos/correspondence can be grouped/searched or indexed/ summarised later with a regex tool. I would like to know if there are some opensource tools in the windows world so that future adoption of the same tools under linux becomes easier once migration takes place from windows to linux in an organisation/department

also crm ticketing systems etc or the mailman email server or chat utilities

but your user experiences and recommendations would be more appreciated since real world experience is very valuable. Care to share a few words.
