I've got news that Internet access via cable modem is arriving in my locality. I am wondering whether there's support for it on GNU/Linux. Are there drivers available for the hardware (what kind of hardware?).
I am using Hathway cable connected to my linux proxy & mail server. Ask your provider to give the conection onto your Enet card. If they give you a static ip, set your Enet card with this ip.

Is Hathway available in the suburbs?? Santacruz(W)?? If i'm looking for such a connection which would you suggest. AFAIK, few available are BSES and Wincable (direct eth), In2cable (Cable modem). Especially, I would like to know how good is BSES's service.
