I want to install wvdial on Red hat 4. Can anyone tell what other dependencies I need in order to install wvdial?

Having access to yum or apt-get would simplify the situation. I was under the impression you have access to neither.

It should be already in your system. Just type wv (as root) and hit [TAB] twice and see what you get.

it's working now. I have just used wvdial.conf file which is in my ubuntu. I copied this file from there and pasted into my redhat's /etc folder and set up the nameserver info in /etc/resolve.conf file..
now I am able to access the net...thanks buddy....thanks all....
