Hi all,
firstly thanks everyone for stretching their hands to help me when i requested for a linux instalation CD.
I had windows XP and I hve installed Fedora Core 2 on one of the partitions. Now i cant get into Windows XP.
It says :
*Booting 'Other'* *rootnoverify (hd0,0)* *chainloader +1* ** ** and the screen stays that way. if anybody has ever faced such an issue n has a solution, plz leme know.
PS: dunno if its imp to mention, but, im using an AMD processor n NOT intel.
Thanks in advance -Ranjit

What option did you select for installing the boot loader? In case you have erased your XP boot loader in c:\ ( please cross check first) then you could bootup using an XP cd and reload the ntloader. Google for the method. Then see if you can boot into XP. Once that is done, boot your system with your FC2 boot cd (cd1) and type 'linux rescue'. At the command prompt type 'grub install' and select 'mbr' as the location. This should solve your problem.
Regards,
Rony.
