BTW is there any utility on Linux like "CPUIdle" which "cools" the CPU while not in use?

I think linux kernel does internal cpu power management and does not

any such utility... not sure but felt like read somehting like this somewhere...

In that case, I think, I will have to recompile the kernel. Because default kernel with RedHat 8.0 or 9 doesnt seem to do that. I wonder why they have not kept this option active.
