Assuming you have pppoe, run pppoeconf. Use the defaults. Username is same as you use in the windows dialer. For password, see this link http://www.fedoraforum.org/forum/archive/index.php/t-82441.html - there's a bit of "encryption" to be done. After that, its 'sudo pon dsl-provider' to fire up and 'sudo poff -a' to shut off the net. 'plog' and 'ifconfig ppp0' are two commands to help you out.
