However i have got what i wanted - the power of FSF,

There's a gr8 tool that we system admins shd deploy

its libstatgrab

freshmeat.net/projects/libstatgrab/

it gives a ncurses based output of multiple stats.

In a SAN\NAS environ like ours - the cause of asvc_t or wio - this tool will surely help us.
